Cozytale ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application Cozytale - Bedtime Stories ("App").
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our service:
Information you provide: Your child's name and age (stored locally on your device only). We do not transmit this information to our servers.
Usage data: Anonymous analytics about how you use the App, including features used and session duration. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
Purchase information: When you subscribe, Apple processes your payment. We receive only confirmation of your subscription status — we never see your payment details.
Our App uses the following third-party services:
OpenAI: We send your story preferences (hero, place, lesson) to OpenAI's API to generate personalized stories. Your child's name is included in the story generation prompt. OpenAI's privacy policy is available at openai.com/privacy.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous usage data. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
AppsFlyer: We use AppsFlyer for analytics and attribution to understand how users discover our App. AppsFlyer collects device identifiers and usage data. Their privacy policy is available at appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We use the information we collect to:
— Provide and improve the App's features
— Generate personalized bedtime stories
— Process and manage your subscription
— Analyze App performance and usage patterns
Your child's name and age are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage. Your saved stories are also stored locally on your device. We do not store personal information on our servers.
Cozytale is designed for use by parents with their children. The App is not directed at children under 13 to use independently. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Parents control all data entered into the App.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by deleting the App from your device. To request deletion of any data held by our third-party partners, please contact us at support@cozytale.app.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
